The 1822 crosses over Furnace Run as it leads northbound train 52 from Akron to Independence. More than just a scenic train ride, the CVSR runs multiple trips per day and has many station stops along its route, providing legitimate transportation for hikers, bikers, and others visiting the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The route is a former B&O line.
