| Climbing the Million Dollar Highway from Silverton south toward Molas Pass affords a couple quick views of the town of Silverton. Here, four of DSNG's steam locomotives are visible (three of them under steam). DSNG K-36 481 sits on the southwest side of town (nearest). In the heart of town are the doubleheader team of (I believe) DSNG K-36 482 and K-28 478, the second train up the pass. Lastly, DRGW K-37 493 sits quietly on display with other vintage equipment to center-right. |
