DMIR 203 and mate 207 await their next assignment near midnight outside the Proctor diesel shop on a beautiful summer evening. The two units were part of an 8 unit order from EMD delivered in June 1971 and were the first new diesels received since April 1960 when DMIR received 19 SD18s to complete dieselization of their railroad.
