Remarks & Notes

The southbound Canadian Pacific Railway D45-31 local, operating a nightly round-trip (except Tuesday nights) between Saratoga Springs and Albany, New York, is seen arriving at CP's Kenwood Yard at the Port of Albany. The train consists of the final pair of Delaware & Hudson-painted GP38-2s - 7304 and 7303 - and are illuminated by a total of four Alien Bee AB1600 units. Crew was aware (especially since they were 'flashed' several other locations on the southbound journey) and acknowledged the warning flash. The D45 is passing the UP AC44 5509 that led the CP 608-130 DPU oil train to the Port and is awaiting its turn into the yard. Well-placed puddle is courtesy of Mother Nature ;-)
