| On the recommendation of a friend, I ventured out early this morning to this fine location at Hoghton Wood on the western approaches to Blackburn in Lancashire 'Duchess of Sutherland' makes a magnificent sight as she breasts the summit and heads into the cutting. The strange quality of early light catching the exhaust in the cutting was rather ethereal and I hope the image does it justice. |
