Remarks & Notes

Canadian Pacific G3 No. 2317 shares the Riverside yard with a pair of G5 Pacifics, Nos. 1246 and 1293, during one of the legendary night photo sessions conducted by Jim Boyd. All three locomotives are decked out with robin egg blue boiler jackets (although the G5s never wore that scheme in regular service).
