Remarks & Notes
Bonneville Transloaders, Inc. EMD SW1500 No. 1 pulls a small train west of Bonneville, Wyoming, on October 2, 1997. This trackage connects BNSF Casper Subdivision trackage at milepost 304 at Bonneville to Shoshoni on Chicago and North Western’s “Cowboy Line.” This former C&NW trackage from Shoshoni to Riverton was originally bought by Bad Water Line, with this short section later operated by BTI, with the rest of the line now abandoned. BTI No. 1 is former Southern Pacific 2636 painted in silver with blue trim.
