Fresh from the paint booth, ARR 3012 sits in front of the diesel shop in the yard in Anchorage. 3012 is the first unit to be painted locally in quite some time, and, sadly, she was the last GP40 to sport the Bold Alaska paint scheme. Now the question remains if other ARR units will pay a visit to Alaska Industrial Paint to receive the Baby MAC scheme. If so, ARR 3003's original black and yellow scheme, as seen lurking in the shadows inside the shop, runs the risk of being sandblasted into the history books.
