Remarks & Notes

With a consist representing two thirds of North America, NS 221 throttles up at Mecaslin Street in Atlanta for the last few miles of its trip. In the background above the rear of the train is Southern Railway's Brookwood Station, now used by Amtrak, and to the right is one of the many peaches adorning tall towers in Atlanta which represent the towers used to hold the Olympic torch in 1996.
