| An SBB Re 4/4 I of the first series propels the 15.05 Arth Goldau to Airolo local train up the Gotthard north ramp towards the Pfaffenspung spiral tunnel from Gurtnellen. This service was replaced by a local bus service many years ago to make way for more freight trains. This locomotive is still in use with a private operator and was seen working over the Gotthard line last year. |
