Passing milepost 8 on Canadian National’s Albreda Subdivision, VIA Rail’s train No. 5, the Skeena, has just departed Jasper and is approaching Geikie, Alberta, on July 11, 2014. The westbound vest pocket streamliner powered by EMD F40PH-3 No. 6420 carries dome-observation “Banff Park” on the rear.
