Remarks & Notes
Snaking its way out of Black Thunder Mine, southbound FPPX (Fayatte Power Project) coal loads enter back onto BNSF's Orin Subdivision at a location known as Reno Junction. The long train of "Black Diamonds" is destined for unloading at the Sam Seymour power plant located in La Grange, TX. The large structure on the left side of the photo is the West Thunder Mine loadout which receives its coal via a massive conveyor belt running from the Black Thunder facility far to the right and out of the picture.
