Remarks & Notes
A southbound empty Wisconsin Electric Power (WEPX) hopper train rolls by the slag pile at Mather (M8.3) en route to Bailey Mine at the end of the Manor Branch. By this date, WEPX trains on the Monongahela typically consisted of a single C&NW unit and a pair of CSX units, which, on this day, included a well worn unit still in L&N livery.
