A Vlocity DMU set bound for Geelong passes a city bound Comeng EMU at Footscray station. Footscray has just gone through a major rebuild as part of the Regional Rail Link project, which will provide regional V/line trains with their own set of tracks through this section. The disused brick signal box to the right of the picture dates from the early 20th century, and thankfully survived the rebuild.
