Remarks & Notes

As the 4th of July comes to a close, NS GE24 stands in Hapeville, Ga. waiting for a fresh crew with it's pair of high hood GP38-2s. NS 5176 stands out in a way for the noteworthy fact of carrying "NYC" sub lettering, for some reason no one has an explanation on this. NYC sub markings denoted CSX properties, so it raises some odd questions.
