| It's hard to believe that it's been a quarter of a century since the Blue Mountain & Reading was the hottest thing in tourist railroads in the northeast. Railfan weekends were a mob scene as a Reading 4-8-4 powered trips. Night photo sessions -- done with bulbs! -- drew 200 people. This scene, however, involved only one photographer. At three in the morning, the hostler obliged by flipping the headlight on and off for one very tired photographer. |
