Remarks & Notes
Santa Cruz Portland Cement No. 2 returned to home rails in July 2014 after 90 years, powering three days of public excursions over the Roaring Camp, Big Trees & Pacific and the Santa Cruz & Monterey Bay Railroads. Here the 1909 Porter crosses the spectacular Shady Gulch Trestle between Felton and Santa Cruz on July 13, a magical experience of sight and sound lifted straight out of the early 1900s.
