Remarks & Notes

Looking east along the former mainline of the Wisconsin Central (Soo Line/DSS&A) at Diamond Junction. The signals have been deactivated after WC abandoned this track in 1997 after purchasing Union Pacific's ex-C&NW routes in the area. The DSS&A crossed the LS&I at this location and the tracks west of here still exist (as does the LS&I track east to Eagle Mills) but the line has little, if any, traffic.
