Following years of back and forth between the City of Belfast, Maine and the nearby Belfast & Moosehead Lake RR, July 12, 2014 would be the last moves of trains over the City Point Bridge before the rails will be torn up for a walking/riding trail. Here, #50 has a few old freight cars and a caboose that will be staged for the night's photo run-by. The bridge itself will stay, but it's bittersweet to say the least! The B&ML will also remain North of this area.
