This is the command center for Paris/Lyon South East high speed line. This center is named PAR for "Poste d’Aiguillage et de Régulation" in French, switches regulation center in English. On this location all the traffic of high speed trains on New Line 1 (LN1 in French) is supervised and managed. On the upper display board all trains are traced with their ID, on the lower blue display board all the electric power stations are managed. The phones on the operator table are for communicate with high speed trains drivers to give instructions in case of problems. This command center was built in 1979 and only computers and some electronics parts have been changed or modernised ! Nothing more...
