Former SAR NG15-class "Kalahari" number 119 steams across the high Van Stadens River bridge with a train bound for Assegaaibos in the Langkloof. It is a 300-foot drop to the river below. Trains have not been seen on the line for some time but if current efforts by a group of volunteers are successful, scenes like this will soon be possible once more.
