Old Meets New at Maywood (part 2)
The engineer of the westbound Sparta local gives a friendly wave while passing the Maywood Station Museum. NYS&W Alco S2 #206 is cosmetically restored and rests adjacent to the station and main line, allowing for this apparent "meet" between old and new(er) Susquehanna power. As of the date of this photo, NYS&Ws fleet of former Oakway SD60s are favored mainline power, with the SD40T-2s relegated to local assignments.
