Remarks & Notes
Just west of the village of Bertram, a matched 4-pack of Austin Western GP50’s lead empty rock hoppers from Oldcastle’s rock yard at Seward Junction (Liberty Hill), TX to the massive quarry at Sudduth, north of Marble Falls, TX. The camelback hills are a neat feature of railroading in Texas Hill Country.
