Remarks & Notes
An Australian in South Africa.....this ex-Queensland Railways class 1720 Clyde GL18C Co-Co now belongs to RRL Grindrod and is currently based at Welkom to work the Harmony Gold ore traffic. On a winter afternoon, no.1773 has brought its train of empties to Nyala shaft for loading and has just uncoupled to run around and push the empties forward for loading from the waste dump.
