Going back to August 2013, the Final Farewell run of the Budd 2200 Series cars pulls into Madison / Wabash. The trip originated at Harlem & Lake on the Green Line, ran up to Kimball, back south to Englewood via the State Street Subway and Midway. After lunch we went up to Linden, out to 54th & Cermak and concluded our trip back at Harlem & Lake. These six cars then got "lost" in the yard at Harlem for several months until someone had to open their mouth about needing track space. The cars were quickly moved to Skokie and shipped out to the scrapper.
