| "Crocodile" Ce 6/8 II # 14253 from Erstfeld is leading Be 4/7 # 12504 over the middle Meienreuss bridge in Wassen. Both locomotives date from the electrification of the Gotthard line nearly 100 years before, the Be 4/7 for express trains and the Ce 6/8 II for freight trains. The middle Meienreuss bridge was a truss bridge then and was rebuilt in concrete blended with granit stones about 60 years ago.
