Remarks & Notes
MoPac’s eastbound Missouri River Eagle has shrunk to three cars on Sept. 24, 1967 as it sails into Pleasant Hill, Mo., headed for St. Louis. Two T&P E-8’s have replaced the E-7’s; No. 34 formerly was T&P 2014, and the budgetary paint scheme has even clipped the proud stainless steel eagle wings from the nose.
