Old Meets New at Maywood (part 1)
Two completely different eras of Susquehanna motive power are represented here. An off-schedule SU100 is seen passing through Maywood at 7:42pm on a gloomy Wednesday evening. This train typically would pass here 12 to 14 hours earlier. In fact, its westbound counterpart (SU99) is often well west of this location by this time of day. The four SD60s leading this train are "meeting" the cosmetically restored NYS&W S2 206 which is on display at the Maywood Station Museum.
