Along with spending 6 months clearing out Blanchett KY just 8 miles up the line, I also spent the same amount of time, and a whole lot more man power making this shot possible again. Originally the only shot worth getting of the bridge was of a southbound from the south end, but after removing around roughly 100 different trees (From small saplings to full grown towering oaks) and hanging from the side of a cliff to remove any under brush, the north end shot had been opened up. It cost about $25 and took about 400 man hours. Mostly of which cutting down a few trees on my way home from work everyday. I was still cutting down trees and clearing brush up until 24 hours before the trip came through. All in all, 6 months of work for 30 seconds of pure steam....COMPLETELY WORTH IT!
