Approaching the end of the mainline at Greenwood, a pair of SD70MAC's and a string of empties ease across the coal truck entrance at Patriot's Lick mine. Coal is moved in many formats in the rural C&O coalfields. Whether by rail, truck, or conveyor, coal is king in this section of isolated southern West Virginia.
