| The line from Granada to Bobadilla is going to be completely overhauled and partially rebuilt due the Spanish L.A.V (Linea Alta Velocidad -> High speed lines) program. Some parts are already in service, but in Loja the line is still curving around the hills and the trains speed is limited to 60 km/h.
Medio Distancia 13076 tractioned by a series 599 DMU is running towards Bobadilla. In the background the ~3500m high Sierra Nevada mountains are visible which in may still have some snow covered peaks while down here the temperatures already reach 30°C and more... |
