Track renewal on the busy Gotthard mountain route over the lower Meienreuss bridge, with the almost 80 m long sleeper replacement machine PUMA-S from Scheuchzer company, built by Matisa as P95, which advances with a maximum of 1 km per hour. The blue self-propelled gantry crane (up to 18 km/h) transported the dismantled wooden sleepers over several flat cars away. After the passage of the train, the two rails are set out on the leveled ballast bed and connected with gauge bars, ready for the work of the ballast cleaning machine. On the other track a train is passing about every 5 minutes.
