An 05:30 start was necessary to be here in time to see this. Absolutely still and near freezing temperatures that gave a good exhaust plume even though the loco wasn't working hard. If only the sun had been shining as forecast there would have been a glint off the loco and the underside of the arch would have been illuminated as well 60007 "Sir Nigel Gresley" casts an almost perfect reflection on the waters of the Kennet and Avon canal at Beech Grove Lock near Crofton. It is travelling light engine as 5Z32 from Southall WCR - Taunton in preparation for working 1Z32 "The Dartmouth Express" railtour, 07:51 Guildford - Kingswear
