Remarks & Notes

BN's big C636's were powerful but trouble plagued units. I was fortunate enough to actually see a number of them in service in the summer of 79. I also picked up a number of slides in trade or purchase over the years of these fantastic Alco's. One of the first ones to be permanently parked was 4365. Here it is at Klamath Falls spraying a stream of what appears to be coolant. Photo has been in my collection for years. Photographer is listed as Vic Reyna.
