Remarks & Notes
Coupling onto Atlantic Coast Line E3(A) No. 501, former Duke Power GE 25-ton switcher No. 5951 prepares to spot this rare ACL gem outside of the Bob Julian Roundhouse for an upcoming night photo session. The diesel roster of the North Carolina Transportation Museum consists of a diverse fleet of locomotives supporting a variety of fallen flags and short line operations. Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
