It is very rare to see and photograph the "Pride of Saxonia" (Sachsenstolz) 2-8-2 express train steamlocomotive 19 017 in its whole glory, because usually she is hidden in the dark roundhouse of Dresden Altstadt or covered by other vehicles during exhibitions. In this moment the not operational locomotive was moved from the roundhouse to the exhibition place some hundert meters away, so it could seen on the turntable for a short while. The four cylinder "Sächsische XX HV" were the only german express train steamlocomotives in 2-8-2 "Mikado" configuration and the largest european steamlocomotives when built between 1918 and 1923 by Sächsische Maschinenfabrik Chemnitz for the line from Dresden to Hof with heavy grades. The not operational locomotive is owned by Verkehrsmuseum Dresden and based in the roundhouse of Dresden Altstadt.
