Dresden main station is one of the most impressive german stations, with a large concourse with 7 stump tracks/platforms for starting and ending trains, flanked on both sides by elevated smaller concourses with 3 / 4 long through tracks each, plus two tracks outside on the south side for freight trains. The red light trail is from the entering ICE 1643 from Frankfurt Airport, the bluish trail from the LED head light of a modern freight locomotive.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
