Remarks & Notes
Generally known as “white knights,” KCS’s highest numbered SD-40 636 leads two mates and their southbound train by the brick depot at DeRidder, La. on Feb. 15, 1973. The last KCS passenger train, a remnant of the “The Flying Crow,” stopped there on May 11, 1968.
