Where SD40s no longer tread. A view taken inside the DW&P's curved 520-ft tunnel in far western Duluth. Blasted out in 1912, this rugged line into Duluth was abandoned in 1984 when the Peg started operating out of their new facilities at Pokegama near Superior, Wisconsin.
