Remarks & Notes |
The meeting place between ore and freight. The Ramshaw diamond is the crossroads between the CN Iron Range Sub and the CN Rainy Sub and it sees a lot of traffic on any given day. The IR Sub is the main line between the mines of Minnesota's Iron Range and the ore docks at Two Harbors while the Rainy Sub is CN's route through northern Minnesota between Chicago and the west coast. The red color is unmistakable as this location is the heart of ore county. |
