| While not rare it is unusual to see a Norfolk Southern SD70M-2 parked in the yard at Biwabik, MN on a ore train. This train is 195 cars long and will travel to U.S. Steel's Minntac plant for loading of taconite pellets and then to Escanaba, MI. These trains are running due to the ice issues currently holding back or halting ship travel on Lake Superior. |
