| There are little pieces of history out there if a person takes the time to look around (and down). An old Duluth, Missabe and Iron Range Railroad date nail from 1930 lay almost obscured by fallen leaves on an old spur track near Gilbert, MN. The rust on the rail head is a tell tale sign this track isn't used anymore and has consequently since been removed by CN. Hard to believe this date nail survived this long seemingly untouched. |
