It was bad enough arriving Peach Creek, W. Va. to find C&O’s steam operations had just been taken over by diesels in 1956, but the dismal, rainy, overcast Oct. 6th day didn’t help the enthusiasm. F unit 7087 and mate; 2-6-6-2 1309 at left in the dead line.
