A pair of class 27 locos (D5377 and D5390) at Tramway Junction,Gloucester,in May 1968.The pair had worked from Birmingham with a freight service,and were returning light to Saltley depot.Although locos of this type were allocated to the Midland Region at the time,this was the first occasion that I had seen the type in Gloucester,and may well have been the first visit of the type to the area.
