| Class 37 Diesels, 37-053 & 37-033, are seen here passing through the Bayhead Yard with a load of Containers. Their destination is probably Richards Bay on the KwaZulu Natal North Coast. Between 1981 and 1982 one hundred of these Class 37s were placed in service. They were designed by General Motors Electro-Motive Division and built by General Motors South Africa as Type GT26M2C. |
