| Bird's eye view on Visp station in the Valais, with Füllhorn and Bortelhorn (right) mountains in the background. On the left on the mountainside the Lötschberg mountain line from Brig to Hohtenn-Goppenstein-Kandersteg-Frutigen. Re 460 000 with train Interregio 1430 from Brig to Geneva Airport is leaving the station over the Vispa bridge. On the right of the train the brandnew third railway bridge with a fourth track (from Visp to St.Germann, where the Lötschberg Base tunnel line and the line through the Valais towards Sion split) and a 1 meter gauge track of the Matterhorn-Gotthard-Bahn, which is going to the new freight terminal "Bockbart" of "Alpin Cargo AG", opend in december 2013. |
