| The C&NW SD45s were infrequent visitors to Duluth-Superior so we where excited when the North Western acquired a number of former Conrail SD45s (with dynamic brakes). Just days on the property a pair of ex-PRR SD45s rest at Itasca Yard. Initially the SD45s were favored on all-rail ore moves so we did see quite a few. |
