| This early evening of July 1, 1977 found UP's ASPX racing east across the Idaho desert country near Buhl, ID. This hot rod featured a pair of "fast 40s" and a pair of Centenniels and was allowed speeds of 70 mph on its race from Seattle/Portland to North Platte. It was also playing dodge ball with a dust storm this particular evening. |
