Remarks & Notes
This here is the Raritan River Drawbridge, built in 1908. It replaced the first bridge built here in 1875 by the NY&LB. The current bridge has been owned by several parties since the CNJ/PRR era: Penn Central (1968–1971), the New Jersey Department of Transportation (to 1983), and New Jersey Transit (NJT).
