A northbound container train from Durban to Johannesburg, led by 18E 18-524 in TFR red, is climbing Majuba Pass between Ingogo and Mount Prospect, crossing bridge no.2 between tunnels 2 and 3 on the ruling 1 in 66 grade. This part of the railway line between Newcastle in kwaZulu-Natal and Volksrust in Mpumalanga is the third alignment (commissioned in 1984) since the line was first opened in 1891.
